We’ve had Ginger for almost two weeks now. She fits in with our family with no problems at all. She loves to go to the dog park and play in our back yard. She is also very cuddly and sweet. I have attached some pictures for you to see.

Thank you so much – I can not even imagine life without Ginger in it.

Carrie

It's almost been one week and Emma is settling in just fine.  We had an incident with her chewing one of the legs on the coffee table but now it matches everything else in our house. She gets very excited when we come home so we're working on the "off" comand. On Monday night Shane took her to the off-leash park to practice "fetch". He threw the stick and Emma stayed where she was, but six golden retrievers chased after it and brought it back.) She's a very sweet girl and loves to roll over for belly rubs.

Emma and Caesar run around in the yard all day that when they come inside at night they are too tired to do anything but lay around. They've become fast friends and have only had minor jealousy issues from Caesar.  She's scared of the cat. Yes, our gentle giant is scared of our little Sox. Emma will go out of her way to avoid Sox. I'm sure it will just take some time before they can be friends. She went to the vet on Wednesday and got her shots. He said she's healthy and will grow another 2-5 inches.  Yikes! She's gonna be a big girl.

Thanks for your help!

Well, it has been has been a year now since mom saw me at Petcetera... she brought dad and he fell in love with me too.  They adopted me and renamed me Molly, it suites me better than Dancer, although I still do a dance when I'm happy.  So here I am, in the past year I have filled in quite nicely (I was pretty skinny when mom got me).  And what a great year... I've been to the mountains and chased chipmunks and squirrels while there (oh and a gopher!!) I have three play mates right next door (Tika, Scooby and Sweettpea) I have a HUGE yard, but I still think I could use a few more treats!  You can never have enough treats.  I get to go to the river valley for walks, sometimes with mom and dad sometimes with mom, grandma and Scooby.  I have my choice of sleeping quarters (hmm should I sleep on the bed, the couch, my blankie, soo many choices). I have lots of toys, but I'm too mature for them. I get lots of hugs and cuddles and love watching TV in bed with mom and dad.  All in all I'm now a very happy, confident girl and I sure am glad I got rescued and adopted.  Here's a picture of me, mom thinks I'm her little princess, but I think I'm the queen and should not be subjected to wearing costumes.  Molly

Scruffy, he is a wonderful little fellow, and we are so grateful that you took care of him till he came into our hearts & home.

Thank you, Val & Family

Just a quick update on Lexus. When we first saw her on the Petfinder website we knew it wouldn't be long until she was a part of our family.  We could tell right away that she was a sweet little girl who was just scared because her last owner wasn't very nice to her. She has come such a long way in the short time we've had her it's incredible. She came into our home when we already had another puppy, Tika, a Beagle/American Eskimo, and they have quickly become best of friends. All they want to do all the time is play, which works well as they are both the same size, and they especially love chasing birds and rabbits outside! Since we've switched her brand of food (she has a sensitive stomach) she hasn't had any other accidents in the house. She listens very well and has learned many tricks (she even knows right paw from left paw)! She still has a long way to go as she has trust issues due to the way her last owners treated her but we're all working on it. We just wanted to say thank you to SHARES for saving her from her old life as she is now a very important part of ours!

Crystal, Joe, Lexus & Tika

My family before Joe consisted of Milo and Oscar (3 & 6), both male Miniature Dachshunds. I also have a cat named Polaris (almost 2). I absolutely love dogs and it breaks my heart every time I see one that I can't take home with me. I warned my husband that once we get a house big enough, I'm looking for a Lab. Well, we've owned our home for 6 months now, so my search was on. I found Joe on Petfinder.com and instantly fell in love with him. Since I've brought him home he has been nothing but a joy.

All three of the boys get along so well together and Joe acts as if he's been part of the family since the beginning. Having the three of them keep me company is wonderful.

Joe is a quiet, gentle, very obedient and loyal dog and I look forward to several more years with him. Thank you SHARES and Petfinder.com.

Oscar (Border Collie) has found his forever home with Monty (who is also a rescue dog) and I.  Everyone is doing well and Oscar is very happy  to be here!

We adopted Titan, the Frenchie, from your organization in March of 07. Here are some photos for you! He is simply a wonderful companion, gets along with all dogs, all people, and we love him very much! We decided to change his name to Louis, and it suits him perfectly!

Thank you to Brenda in particular for her assistance with the adoption of Titan.  Our family is blessed!
